One of our clients in the government domain is seeking an Epic Application Analyst (Inpatient). This position is for an Epic Application Analyst to support the Outpatient Clinical Systems at OhioMHAS. Epic Application Analyst Long Term ContractColumbus, Ohio Interviews will be done online via a Teams meeting.Hybrid- 1 day/week (30 E. Broad St. Columbus, OH 43215)Out-of-state travel could be required.Epic Application Analyst (Inpatient Clinical System, Epic Willow Module)The mission of the Ohio Department of Mental Health and Addiction Services (OhioMHAS) is to provide statewide leadership of a high-quality mental health and addiction prevention, treatment and recovery system that is effective and valued by all Ohioans.Ohio MHAS Values:Contribute and CollaborateServe CompassionatelyDeliver QualityBe AccountableResponsibilitiesIn conjunction with Hospital Services, performs in-depth analysis of current and future workflows, data collection, report details and other technical issues associated with the Epic EHR and designated third-party applications.Collects requirements regarding potential system enhancements or new system implementation and prepares details of specifications needed.Prioritizes and implements requested changes to the system.Investigates standardization and process improvement opportunities while making build decisions.Validate data is accurate and meets business requirements.Designs and executes small-scale application testing as required.Provides support for the installation and implementation of system patches, service utilities and version upgrades as assigned.Troubleshoots identifies root cause and documents problems of simple to medium complexity for assigned applications and systems.Analyzes and manages systems or third-party vendors/service providers to ensure service level agreements are met.Maintains data integrity and security for assigned applications and systems.Develop system documentation as assigned per standards.Develops communication for deployments, upgrades, optimizations, and other system changes as assigned.Analyzes workflows and understanding policies, procedures, and constraints in a core clinical or business area(s) of responsibility.Partners with quality, operational and business leaders on system design and optimization to meet quality, safety, financial and efficiency needs.Must Have Qualification:Completion of undergraduate core program in computer science or information systemsAnd 12 combined work experience in multiple areas of assigned responsibility (e.g., infrastructure, database administration, software development, business process analysis) as specified by the agency position description & posting.36 month's combined work experience in multiple areas of assigned responsibility (e.g., infrastructure, database administration, software development, business process analysis), including 12 months of combined work experience as specified by the agency position description & job posting or equivalent of minimum class qualifications for employment noted above.Preferred Qualifications Certification:Epic certification in one or more Epic modules (Epic Care Inpatient Clinical Documentation inc. Behavioral Health, EpicCare Inpatient Order Entry inc. Provider Documentation, Grand Central ADT inc. Transfer Center)
