We first opened our doors in 2016, but have since evolved into a national lifestyle brand.PURPOSE // The Project + Procurement Manager is a key leader on the Design team who marries realistic expectations with our designers' creative aspirations and the client's needs. This role will be a wealth of knowledge at all design phases to ensure product and project timelines, budget proposals, and scope are optimized and proactively communicate with the client. This role requires a close partnership with several departments to facilitate all cross-functional needs as it pertains to the design, purchasing, and procurement of finished and selected raw materials. The goal is to ensure a smooth and cost-efficient flow of our production operations.OUTLINE // The Project + Procurement Manager is a full-time, exempt, permanent, hybrid position (2-3 Days in-office required). The primary location for the position is Pure Salt Newport Beach (Design Studio), the position reports directly to a Pure Salt Founder/Principal Designer. This position will begin within the compensation range of $75,000-$85,000/annually -- see Perks and Benefits below for additional benefits included with full-time permanent position.DUTIES + RESPONSIBILITIES //Project Planning and Preparation //Reports directly to owners and partners with design team leads to efficiently and effectively manage all aspects of a design project from start to finish. Ensures all details are met, tracked, and communicated to the client within the timelines promised.Procurement and Supplier Management //Manage supplier relations and negotiating contracts, prices, timelines, etc.Review client proposals for fine details, place product orders, and manage invoicing.Ensuring that all procured items meet the required quality standards and specifications and going back to the supplier if RMA needs to be created if standards are not met.Logistics and Communication //Track and schedule shipments including shipping to Pure Salt Receiving warehouse(s), Pure Salt 3PL (via coordinating with internal teams), DTC drop ship orders, and direct-to-client orders.Proactively communicate timelines and ETAs to clients and customers.Ongoing Management and Issue Resolution //Coordinate returns and exchanges and claim creation, follow up, and communicate the business status of claims monthly.Partner with Design to quickly resolve all field and drawing issues.Manage and qualify change orders within project budgets.Oversee the labor productivity, product margin, revenue budgets, and customer satisfaction of each design project.Financial and Reporting Oversight //Manage expense reporting by closing out monthly, quarterly, and year-end expenses.Create trackers, reports, and dashboards for communicating the status of projects, timelines, budgets, and scope of work.Project Completion and Closeout //Drive and manage the completion of the project closeout effort including all warranty letters and any necessary documentation the client requests.Responsible for enforcement of the established design standards and brand image.Training and Development //Training and knowledge are shared as opportunities arise.Other duties as assigned, and subject to change with business needs.REQUIRED SKILLS + EXPERIENCE //Proven track record of managing multiple projects, teams, and leadership expectations simultaneously.2+ years of experience in corporate or construction project management.Residential Construction project management experience is preferred.Experience with business systems such as Google Suite, NetSuite (or comparative ERP system), Houzz Pro, etc.Experience in a fast-paced environment and has demonstrated flexibility and adaptation.EDUCATION //Associate or Bachelor's degree, preferred.Project Management Certificate, or working toward a PM certificate is a plus!PERKS + BENEFITS //Full Health Benefits Packages with low employee premiums (Anthem, Delta, Principal)Paid Development Opportunities via LinkedIn LearningPaid Time Off and Sick Accrual Plans401(k) Company Match, after service requirement is metCompetitive Base Salary, and annual increases based on market rates, company leveling, and performance ratingsEmployee discounts on proprietary and third-party products, and more!
