Packaging Process Engineer

Responsibilities:Manage daily operations of assigned shifts, focusing on safety, quality, efficiency, and team development.Oversee packaging processes (bottling, canning, kegging) to ensure timely and in-specification production.Supervise hourly staff and ensure adherence to company policies and procedures.Lead process improvement initiatives for assigned areas.Key Tasks:Direct Operators to maintain quality through proper procedures.Perform Operator tasks as needed.Participate in hiring, onboarding, and succession planning.Conduct employee evaluations and pre-shift meetings.Ensure compliance with continuous improvement activities (Lean, Kaizen, TPM).Monitor production plans and address issues related to process loss and equipment efficiency.Report and investigate incidents and injuries.Ensure accurate payroll reporting.Qualifications:2+ years of leadership and supervisory experience.2+ years in a process engineer role.2+ years in manufacturing/CPG or engineering.Knowledge of HACCP, GMPs, and process improvement.Proficiency in Microsoft Office.Experience in the beverage industry.
