Product Manager -- International Manufacturer (35121)

An international servicer and supplier of automated & fabricated equipment by Wood Dale, IL is looking for a detail-oriented Product Manager to join their fabrication division. This role will be responsible for managing the whole product lifecycle, ensuring products meet market needs, drive profitability, etc. The role involves collaborating with suppliers, sales, service, and marketing teams.This is a full time and direct hire position with benefits: Dental, Health, Life and Vision Insurance, Voluntary/Basic Life & AD&D, Short/Long-Term Disability, PTO and 401K w/ matching.Key Responsibilities:Manage product lifecycle, including strategy, roadmap, and market positioningProvide product knowledge and technical expertise to sales teamsDevelop and maintain product documentation, sales tools, and presentationsAnalyze market trends and competitor offerings for product innovationCollaborate with sales and application teams to create effective product demos and presentationsWork closely with manufacturers to enhance current products and recommend new products; including visiting their locations at timesTravel as needed (up to 25%)Additional duties as assigned by upper management; will be reporting to the VP of SalesRequirements:5+ years of industry experience or equivalentBachelor's degree (preferred)Experience in product management or related fieldStrong knowledge of the fabrication industry, machine shop operations, machines including fiber lasers and finishing techniquesMust have prior experience with deburring / finishingMust have a valid passport for traveling 25% of the timeProficiency in ERP/CRM systems, such as SalesForce and AXAbility to work independently, solve product challenges, and communicate effectively.Strong analytical, presentation, and strategic planning skillsDirect applicants only.
