Accounting Manager

Kolbe & Kolbe Millwork Company, Inc. is recognized throughout the window and door industry as a leader in the manufacturing of custom, superior quality windows and doors that can be found in some of the most visionary residences and commercial projects in North America. We are currently seeking an Accounting Manager at our corporate office in Wausau, Wisconsin. Reporting to the Vice President of Finance, the Accounting Manager plays a critical leadership role, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting and collaborating across the organization to align financial strategies with organizational goals.ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:1) Timely preparation and review of monthly, quarterly and year-end financial statements2) Ensure accurate and timely recording, analysis, and reporting of financial transactions in compliance with applicable accounting guidelines3) Supervise and develop the existing accounting staff which includes hands-on involvement in the General Ledger, Cash, Accounts Receivable, Prepaids, Inventory, Expenses and Accruals, Taxes, Reserves etc. including performance reviews.4) Develop and implement accounting procedures, and internal control activities to enhance efficiency and accuracy5) Assist with external audits6) Monitor daily bank transactions and monthly reconciliation7) Support team members across the organization with various accounting questions and tasks8) Ad hoc finance and accounting related activities as requestedQUALIFICATIONS:1) Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance2) 7+ years of relevant accounting experience3) Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment4) Strong leadership, team building and project management skills5) Proficiency in accounting software: Microsoft Business Central, and Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, Teams)6) Manufacturing experience is a plusJob Type: Full-timePay: From $80,000.00 per year
