We are seeking a detail-oriented and dynamic interim Human Resources Specialist to support our team in Florence, Kentucky. This role will focus on onboarding, training, employee engagement, and administrative HR functions, with a strong emphasis on Excel-based data reporting for leadership. The ideal candidate will be highly organized, data-savvy, and passionate about creating a positive employee experience.Key Responsibilities:Onboarding & TrainingManage the new hire onboarding process, ensuring a seamless transition for employees.Conduct orientation sessions and ensure all required documentation is completed.Develop and deliver training programs to enhance employee skills and knowledge.Coordinate and track training sessions, compliance requirements, and certifications.Employee Engagement & HR SupportPlan and execute employee engagement initiatives to promote a positive workplace culture.Support HR leadership in retention strategies and recognition programsAct as a point of contact for employee concerns, fostering a supportive environment.Assist with performance management processes and feedback collection.Data Analysis & ReportingUtilize Excel and HR systems to track and analyze HR metrics.Prepare data-driven reports on employee trends, engagement, training, and retention.Present findings to leadership to support data-driven decision-making.Ensure compliance with HR policies, procedures, and labor lawsAdministrative ResponsibilitiesMaintain accurate employee records and HR databasesAssist in processing HR paperwork, benefits enrollment, and compliance documentsSupport recruitment efforts, including job postings, interview coordination, and candidate communicationCollaborate with cross-functional teams to improve HR processes and efficienciesQualifications & Skills:Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.2+ years of experience in HR, onboarding, training, or a related role.Strong Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, data visualization, and reporting).Strong analytical abilities to interpret HR metrics and trends.Excellent organizational and administrative skills with attention to detail.Strong interpersonal and communication skills to engage employees at all levels.Experience with HRIS systems and other HR tools preferred.
