CleanCapital does not discriminate against any individual's race, religion, sexual orientation, gender identity, age or nationality and is committed to promoting a more just and inclusive world through intentional policies and actions.Position SummaryThe Technical Reporting Analyst will monitor and create detailed comprehensive reports for assigned distributed generation projects across the CleanCapital portfolio of solar photovoltaic (PV) systems as well as energy storage. Overall responsibilities will include project reporting, data validation, project onboarding, and performance data analysis using the Radian LENS asset management software and various data monitoring platforms. The Technical Reporting Analyst will work closely with the Technical Asset Managers to ensure the accuracy of reported data and track the status of open maintenance items with outsourced Solar O&M providers.Core ResponsibilitiesMaintain data accuracy within the asset management software. Including, but not limited to, O&M tickets, performance data, spare parts inventory, and project specific information.Optimize processes for validating production data between the DAS, asset management software, and SREC registries.Onboard assets into the asset management softwareOversee SREC registry onboarding and transitions where applicable post new acquisition or as new sites become operational.Create detailed, comprehensive reports on all solar projects.Investigate issues and recommend actions to improve performance.Review Preventative and Corrective Maintenance reports; track the status of open remediation items per asset.Work closely with numerous departments including Accounting, Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A), outside service providers, offtakers (contract counterparty or customers) and partners.Manage monthly and annual EIA reporting requirements in coordination with the Accounting team.Ensure Net Metering assets are receiving accurate billings from Utility metering compared to generation data from the project check-meters.Ensure all DAS providers or third party reporters are timely reporting generation to SREC registries by the relevant deadlines.Participate in the development of an asset compliance calendar. Where specified, manage and monitor compliance in all contracts and activities.Job description may evolve over time.Occasional travel expected.Education RequirementsBachelor's Degree required. Degree in engineering, software development, or any other technical field.Technical Skills and Experience1+ years of experience required in the following areas:Technical understanding and experience with solar generation and energy storage.Experience working with computerized DAS/SCADA/Monitoring platforms and data management.Experience using advanced functions to manage large datasets in Microsoft Excel.Experience working in a high performing multi-disciplinary team.Preferred experience with, but not required:Radian LENS Asset Management software.DAS monitoring platforms such as AlsoEnergy, Unity, PowerFactors, PowerDash, SolarLog, Solrenview, REIG Renergyware, and Trinity.Reviewing technical design drawings and energy models.Microsoft Power BIPsychosocial Skills /Human Skills/Behavioral SkillsDemonstrated commitment and participation in developing an accident-free work environment.Strong business acumen, commercial and financial mindset.Technical understanding of clean energy business processes.Strong analytical skills and ability to review data to make recommendations.Understands financial models and can articulate the potential impact of operations on investments.Ability to define issues, analyze problems, evaluate alternatives, and develop sound conclusions.Excellent interpersonal skills while managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment.Exceptional communication skills both verbally and in writing with superiors, peers, partners, and other stakeholders.Excellence in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).Physical DemandsThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
