Suntex Marinas is a real estate company investing exclusively in niche mixed-use marinas and their related operating platforms. We have acquired, developed, and operated over 70 full-service marinas which include retail spaces, office buildings, resorts, hotels, and restaurants.The Restaurant Administrative Manager is the liaison between the property, accounting, and operations. This role is critical to maintaining accurate financial records at the properties. The Restaurant Administrative Manager provides oversight of the accounting process, ensures that financial records are created and maintained in accordance with company policies and procedures and monitors compliance of all Corporate Policies and Procedures by conducting periodic mini audits. The Restaurant Administrative Manager needs to work collaboratively with the GM of each property and the Regional Controller.DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Daily Sales reconciliations for the RestaurantDaily Cash balance updates for the RestaurantSubmit invoices to AP for the Restaurant and Office building.Sets and provides the highest level of customer/guest services and expedites all requests from GM and guests.Daily input of customer transactions including payments, charges, and new contractsCreate and send monthly billing statements and/or invoices for building tenants based on the rent rollAssist managers with vendor management.Daily cash drop reconciliation for the restaurantWork with Managers to provide assistance with the POS SystemLiaison between property and vendor accounts, and maintenance of those accountsCoordinate with managers to ensure accurate and timely paperwork and processing of all new hires and terminationsThe weekly processing of payroll to ensure compliance for commissions/service charges and tipsWork with managers to ensure proper and timely timecard approvalOther duties as assigned by managementEDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:Prefer Assoc or bachelor's in accounting or Business.Previous accounting experience in a restaurant/hospitality environment, preferredAbove average general accounting/bookkeeping skills and basic understanding of financial statementsMust have intermediate to expert knowledge of Microsoft Office productsMust have excellent knowledge of Microsoft ExcelMinimum of 1-year of data entryMinimum of 1-year Administrative Assistant experiencePrefer 1 year bookkeeping experienceMust be professional and able to maintain confidentialityAbility to manage multiple projects simultaneouslyExcellent attention to detailMust be able to provide the highest level of guest servicesExcellent communication skillsPositive attitudeAbility to work under pressure and in a fast-paced environmentMust be able to work flexible hours based on the needs of the property
