If you are a leader who thrives in a people-first culture and are passionate about delivering excellence, we'd love to hear from you.Job Description:· Manage and mentor the estimating team, fostering a culture of respect, teamwork, and continuous improvement.· Lead and oversee the estimating process, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and alignment with company values. · Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, vendors, and subcontractors to support business growth.· Identify and pursue new business opportunities, assisting in strategic planning and market expansion.· Review project plans, specifications, and proposals to develop precise cost estimates for both Plan & Spec and Design-Build projects.· Calculate labor, material, equipment, and subcontractor costs for competitive and profitable bids.· Implement lean estimating methodologies to optimize efficiency and reduce waste.· Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and leadership to ensure seamless project execution.· Research and stay up to date with industry trends, codes, and regulations to maintain a competitive edge.· Prepare and present estimates and bid proposals to leadership and clients.· Identify project risks and opportunities to improve cost-effectiveness and efficiency.· Participate in pre-bid meetings and site visits to ensure accurate project scoping.· Assist in developing bid strategies and proposal writing to enhance business development efforts.· Ensure estimates align with company standards and profitability goals for both Plan & Spec and Design-Build projects.· Continuously refine estimating techniques, contributing to the overall growth and success of the company.
