Attorney

We are looking for a smart, confident, and experienced lawyer who can handle litigation matters in the areas of business, real estate, and/or trust litigation. We are a small, tight-knit, and family-like firm of experienced litigators looking for an attorney to join our rapidly expanding practice, which is based in Lafayette, CA.We represent plaintiffs and defendants, as well as individuals and businesses of all sizes. We handle complex civil litigation matters involving parties from all over the world. This position will involve independently handling all aspects of litigation, including discovery, motion practice, court appearances, taking/defending of depositions, trial preparation, and trial work. We offer a competitive and unique compensation package.Job requirements:• Strong working knowledge of civil procedure and evidence.• Experience drafting pleadings, discovery (both requests and responses), motions, settlement demands, and mediation briefs.• Experience working with clients directly.• Ability to independently identify issues and to litigate strategically.• Strong legal and factual investigation skills.• Excellent written and oral communication.• Admitted to practice in the state of California.
