Akkodis is seeking a qualified Warehouse Coordinator for a full-time role on our dedicated team onsite in Ashburn, VA. Qualified candidates must possess at least three years within a full scale warehouse environment while managing receivables and outgoing parts along with ensuring inventory is at sufficient levels. Current/prior supervisory/leadership experience is preferred.We're partnered with the leader for building the largest universal national infrastructure for electric vehicles "Fueling Stations of the Future" by investing in a range of current and future charging technologies that will provide open and ubiquitous access to EV drivers along highways, in metro areas, at multi-unit dwellings, at workplaces, and through new mobility programs.Our partnership has invested an additional $2.5 billion (and growing) over the next 10+ years in EV infrastructure, education, and access to support the increased adoption of EV technology in the United States, representing the largest commitment of its kind to date.Salary Range: $75,000 to $95,000/yr (pay scale is commensurate based on experience and education)Relocation assistance is unavailable for this role.Warehouse Coordinator job responsibilities include:The Logistics Operations Coordinator is responsible for supporting and optimizing the supply chain and service parts logistics (SPL) operations at the Center of Excellence (COE) in Ashburn, VA. This role ensures seamless warehouse operations, inventory control, and order fulfillment while coordinating logistics functions with third-party providers and internal teams. The associate will contribute to enhancing efficiency, compliance, and overall supply chain effectiveness.The candidate will work closely with other internal personnel including Supply Chain Service Parts, Field Services, Service Operations, Quality, Tech and the Network Operation Center (NOC) to ensure all logistics requirements within the COE are optimized to support the needs of the organization and ultimately achieve optimized equipment uptimes and customer satisfaction.COE Storeroom Management (40%)Single point of contact for all logistics requirements to and from COEOversee daily warehouse activities, including receiving, put away, picking, packing, and shipping.Ensure efficient inventory control processes, including cycle counting and reconciliation of discrepancies.Manage the warehouse layout and space utilization for maximum productivity.Coordinate with warehousing partners and subcontractors to maintain seamless operations.Service Parts Logistics Support (30%)Manage service parts order fulfillment and distribution to field operations.Oversee reverse logistics, including return material authorization (RMA) processing.Support logistics partners and 3PL providers in ensuring timely and cost-effective deliveries.Logistics & Transportation Coordination (15%)Ensure accurate and timely coordination of LTL and TL shipments with carriers and freight providers.Monitor inbound and outbound shipments to identify and resolve delays.Assist in analyzing transportation costs and optimizing delivery efficiency.Process Improvement & Compliance (10%)Identify and implement logistics process enhancements to improve efficiency.Assist in vendor relationship management, contract reviews, and cost monitoring.Support the development of SOPs for warehouse and logistics functions.Administrative & Reporting (5%)Generate reports related to inventory planning, order tracking, and KPIs.Review invoices and payments for logistics service providers.QUALIFICATIONS:RequiredHigh School Diploma is required.Greater than 3 years of professional experience in a warehouse environment.Solid knowledge and understanding of logistics both domestic and international including import and export.Experience managing inventory and collaborating with warehousing partners and subcontractors.Understanding of project management techniques and methods.Experience with ERP, TMS, WMS and Salesforce or similar operations management platform.Ability to build daily reports related to inventory planning and management using multiple reports and tools.Excellent MS Excel skills, including pivot tables, v-lookups, concatenates, and other formulas as needed.Strong organizational and time-management skills.Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities.Effective communication skills (written and verbal).Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.Knowledge of logistics best practices, warehousing, and transportation.Demonstrates autonomy and initiative.High attention to detail.Demonstrated record of precision & integrity in past work assignments.DesiredExperience on freight and trucking including long haul, short haul, and maritime.Experience in managing third party logistics provider (3PL) relationship.Current/prior supervisory/leadership experience.Higher education with associates or bachelors degree is helpful, though not required.APICS Certifications including Certified Supply Chain Professional (CSCP) and/or APICS Certified in Planning and Inventory Management (CPIM) is helpful, not required.If you are interested in the Warehouse Coordinator role, please click EASY APPLY.
