Their services range from drywall installation to landscaping and architectural design, encompassing a wide variety of construction tasks.Role DescriptionThis is a full-time hybrid role for a Commercial Construction Estimator at Guild Construction Company. The Estimator will be responsible for conducting quantity take-offs, managing costs, communicating with stakeholders, and budgeting for construction projects. The role is based in the Columbus, Ohio Metropolitan Area with some work from home flexibility.QualificationsConstruction Estimating and Quantity Take-offs skillsCost Management and Budgeting skillsStrong communication skillsExperience in commercial construction projectsKnowledge of construction materials and methodsAbility to work in a collaborative team environmentBachelor's degree in Construction Management or related fieldAn ideal candidate will have 5-10+yrs commercial estimating experience, be well-versed in construction means and methods, have experience estimating very small projects $500 to larger projects $2M. Preferred candidate has solid understanding of commercial renovations, remodels, and tenant improvements, mostly Div9 work, but also has basic knowledge of MEP's and general trades. Looking for a construction 'spreadsheet nerd' (meant in the most flattering way) that is very good with numbers, budgets, costs, and finances.
