To expedite consideration, please email your resume to melissa.adams@We are currently assisting our client, a global leader in electrical contracting infrastructure and electrical security solutions, in their search for a Recruiter Security Clearance Specialist GOVCON, MEP, Field & Ops Jobs), for their Tysons, VA location - 100% Onsite (not remote or hybrid).Salary Range$100k - $125k salary base, expedited career pathing track, with stellar benefits package, PTO, 401k, tuition reimbursement, and much more!MUST HAVES:Recruit qualified applicants specializing in Field Operations Maintenance to identify talent with professional, technical, executive, and managerial recruiting in areas including Commercial, Mechanical services, Plumbing and HVAC for the GOVCON (Government Contracting) requiring U.S. Security Clearances that can reach T/S w/Poly.(THIS IS NOT an IT RECRUITER position - please read the details below)Responsibilities:Recruit, develop, and maintain a candidate pipeline for technology in the Security Electronics, engineering, project leaders, technicians, requiring security clearances that can reach T/S w/Poly. and/orRecruit qualified applicants specializing in Field Operations & Maintenance to identify talent with professional, technical, executive, and managerial recruiting in areas including commercial, mechanical services, Plumbing and HVAC for the GOVCON (Government Contracting) requiring U.S. Security Clearances that can reach T/S w/Poly.Collaborate closely with hiring managers and stakeholders to comprehend their staffing needs for positions requiring security clearances of different levels.Develop and implement effective recruitment strategies tailored to the specific needs of roles with security clearance requirements.Utilize a mix of targeted sourcing methods, including job boards, social media, industry-specific platforms, and networking, to identify and engage potential candidates with security clearances.Thoroughly assess candidates' qualifications, including their skills, experiences, and security clearance levels, to determine their suitability for specific roles.Serve as a point of contact for candidates throughout the security clearance process, providing guidance and assistance in completing necessary documentation and interviews.Maintain a robust pipeline of security-cleared candidates, ensuring a consistent pool of talent for current and future openings.Manage the end-to-end recruitment lifecycle, ensuring a smooth and efficient process from initial contact to offer acceptance.Uphold a positive candidate experience by offering transparent communication, timely updates, and support throughout the hiring process.Collaborate with HR and compliance teams to ensure that all hiring processes and documentation align with security clearance regulations and guidelines.Stay current with industry trends, security clearance policies, and emerging technologies to continuously enhance recruitment strategies.Leverage data and reporting to monitor recruitment metrics and optimize processes for security clearance roles.Qualifications:Education: A bachelor's degree is preferred but not required. Bachelor's Degree with 4+ years of experience / associate degree with 6+ years of experience / High School Diploma with 8+ years of experience.Extensive experience recruiting technicians, engineers, and project leaders with active DOD security clearances up to TS/SCI with Polygraph.In-depth understanding of the security clearance process for public trust, secret, top secret, SCI Poly, and Full Scope Poly.Experience with Full Life Cycle Recruiting operations.4+ years of experience in operations & maintenance, security electronics systems, engineering, construction, and technology.3+ years of experience working in the government contracting industry and understanding of the security clearance process - preferred but not required.Proven track record as a recruiter, with specific experience in recruiting candidates with security clearances.Extensive knowledge of security clearance processes, requirements, and regulations within the intelligence and security sector.Familiarity with various levels of security clearances (e.g., Secret, Top Secret, SCI, Polygraph) and associated investigations.Strong network within the security clearance community, including candidates, industry organizations, and relevant contacts.Strong working knowledge with a company-wide recruitment database system, applicant tracking systems, candidate relationship management (CRMs), internet, HRIS system, MS Word, Excel, Outlook.Strong working knowledge in creating reports and analytics either ad hoc or from the data systems (ATS, CRM, HRIS).Strong proficiency with utilizing Excel to create pivot tables and analyze results and forecasts. We cannot train someone on Excel.
