Key Responsibilities:Oversee and evaluate banking operations related to Mortgage OriginationMortgage ServicingCredit CardUnsecured LendingDeposits, and Commercial/Small Business Origination/ServicingEnsure compliance with internal and external regulations and quality assurance standards in day-to-day banking operations.Identify opportunities for continuous improvement within operational processes and collaborate with IT teams for system enhancements.Monitor and enforce controls, compliance procedures, and documentation standards for banking processes.Provide recommendations for process improvements and help implement technology solutions that support efficiency and accuracy in operational tasks.Conduct audits and reviews to ensure data integrity, identify risks, and mitigate any potential issues.Partner with various teams, including Treasury, Finance, Risk, and Compliance, to ensure proper alignment and operational effectiveness.Support ongoing training efforts and development within the team, fostering a culture of accountability and operational excellence.Assist in reporting and providing key performance metrics (KPIs) to ensure the continuous monitoring of operational effectiveness.Qualifications:EducationUndergraduate degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or a related field.ExperienceGovernance & Control Analyst II2+ years of experience in banking operations or quality assurance within banking.Governance & Control Analyst III4+ years of experience in banking operations or quality assurance within banking.Experience in Mortgage OriginationMortgage ServicingCredit Card Operations (Origination to Default)Unsecured Lending (Origination to Default)Deposits, and/or Commercial/Small Business Origination/ServicingAdditional ConsiderationBackground in Financial Crime Risk Management (FCRM) and QA will be highly advantageous.Key Skills:In-depth understanding of banking operations and quality assurance practices.Knowledge of SAP and other relevant banking systems for process management.Ability to analyze data, identify issues, and implement corrective actions.Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills.Ability to work collaboratively in cross-functional teams.Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.Attention to detail and ability to manage complex projects.Additional Requirements:Ability to work in a non-voice, non-customer facing environment.Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities.Genpact is an Equal Opportunity Employer and considers applicants for all positions without regard to race, color, religion or belief, sex, age, national origin, citizenship status, marital status, military/veteran status, genetic information, sexual orientation, gender identity, physical or mental disability or any other characteristic protected by applicable laws.
