Job Summary:As a Plant Manager, you'll be responsible for the production staff, the plant operation, overseeing maintenance and maintaining a safe ISO 9001 certified plant. This role gives direction and holds their direct reports accountable: Group Leads, Supervisor, Supply Chain Manager, Master Scheduler and Maintenance Manager.Responsibilities:Responsible for setting and achieving plant production goals, eliminating back orders and achieving on time delivery. Hit financial targets and production goals.Define objectives for efficiencies of labor, material and overhead costs. Ensure that the Master Scheduler is optimizing the scheduling to meet production goals and on time delivery.Plant Manager attends our Weekly Monday 1PM Customer Project Review meetings and monthly P&L Reviews. Work with all company personnel to achieve goals. Outside of direct reports, this includes Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Quality, Receiving, Shipping, Office and Top Management. Ensure that each department has critical backups for vacations and turnover. Build the bench. Work closely with Quality Manager and Quality Tech to reduce defective parts. The Plant Manager shares responsibility for product quality. Train and improve understanding in all Core Competencies: 3 / 5 axis routing, Windshield Forming, Coating Other duties as assigned.About You:Undergraduate degree in Mechanical Engineering is a plus.Seven to ten years of thermoforming and/or injection molding manufacturing experience including supervisory or management responsibility. We are looking for a Top Professional.Have a proven record of demonstrating Root Cause Analysis to solve problems.Experience with our internal processes - 3 Axis Plastic Routing, Silk Screen, Ovens, Optical Hard Coating, 5 Axis Production Machining, Thermoforming, Laser, Screw Machine, Tube Fabrication, Press Stampings, Welding MIG/TIG/Brazing, Polishing, Assembly, Warehouse, Build to Order as well as to Forecast, Internet Sales with Shipping and Warehousing Operations.Motorcycling experience could be helpful.Bilingual English and Spanish is preferred.
