This role requires a hands-on leader who can optimize workflow, enforce safety protocols, and collaborate with our Canadian headquarters to serve a growing U.S. customer base.Key ResponsibilitiesWarehouse Operations and Safety:Oversee setup and management of a 10,000 sq. ft. warehouse.Operate and manage warehouse equipment (forklifts, walkie stackers, pallet jacks).Ensure full compliance with health and safety regulations and enforce safety procedures.Receiving and Inventory Management: Manage receiving processes, ensuring timely and accurate deliveries.Conduct cycle counts and inventory audits to track stock and correct discrepancies.Inspect and properly store received materials.Shipping and Logistics: Oversee domestic and cross-border shipping, ensuring customs compliance and minimizing delays.Track shipments, resolve shipping issues, and coordinate with carriers.Ensure proper packaging to prevent product damage.ERP System & Data Accuracy:Use MRP/ERP systems to track inventory and fulfill orders efficiently.Ensure accurate data entry for inventory and logistics operations.Continuous Improvement and Cost Control: Identify and implement process improvements in procurement, inventory, and logistics.Optimize supply chain workflows to increase efficiency and reduce costs.Communication and Order Fulfillment: Effectively communicate via email and business communication tools.Pick and configure orders using pick tickets (training provided).Prepare documentation and securely pack orders for shipment.Who we are looking for: Warehouse Leadership Experience - 3+ years in a warehouse/logistics role, including 2+ years in a supervisory role.Technical Skills - Experience operating warehouse equipment and managing inventory systems (MRP/ERP).Education - Associate's Degree OR High School Diploma/GED with relevant experience.Problem-Solving & Organization - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, lead teams, and optimize warehouse operations.Excellent Communication & Leadership Skills - Strong team management and collaboration abilities.Willing to Travel - Must be able to travel to North York, Ontario for initial training.
