You will provide comprehensive pre- and post-sale support"”including product demonstrations, training, and troubleshooting"”while actively gathering customer insights and market trends. This role requires hands-on laboratory expertise to design and execute experiments that expand our applications portfolio and unlock new research workflows.Primary Responsibilities1) Applications DevelopmentGather and analyze customer feedback and market trends to identify unmet needs and opportunities for new applications development.Design, plan, and execute experiments using Curi Bio's platforms to develop key customer data for lead generation and pipeline progression.Stay current with scientific advances and industry trends in stem cell biology, tissue engineering, and drug discovery to effectively communicate Curi Bio's value proposition.2)Customer SuccessDevelop a deep technical understanding of Curi Bio's technology and products to deliver exceptional pre- and post-sale support to customers, ensuring their research objectives are met.Conduct product demonstrations, training sessions, workshops, and webinars to educate customers on the effective use of Curi Bio's platforms.Proactively address and resolve technical inquiries and challenges, ensuring customer research objectives are met.Build and maintain robust relationships with key customers and collaborators to support the expansion of platform adoption.3) Technical ExpertiseServe as a trusted scientific advisor to customers, understanding their research needs and providing tailored guidance.Develop high-quality technical marketing materials for lead generation, including application notes, presentations, and whitepapers.Represent Curi Bio at scientific conferences, trade shows, and industry meetings by presenting research findings and technical insights.Collaborate closely with internal teams (R&D, Sales, Marketing) to relay customer insights and drive product improvements.Required QualificationsPh.D. in stem cell biology, developmental biology, bioengineering, or a related scientific field,3-5 years of hands-on laboratory experience in stem cell biology, assay development, and/or tissue engineering.Expertise in cardiac and/or skeletal muscle biology is strongly preferred.Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.Demonstrated ability to work both independently and collaboratively.Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time for customer site visits to provide on-site training and support as well as scientific meetings.Preferred QualificationsPrevious experience in a field applications, technical support, or customer-facing scientific role within the biotech or pharmaceutical industry.Experience with 3D cell culture, organ-on-a-chip, or complex co-culture systems.Familiarity with iPSC-derived or primary cell models and their applications in drug discovery.Passion for innovation, moving science forward and a "startup" work ethic (comfortable wearing "multiple hats").
