She/he will be leading strategic conversations with the HEIs, coordinating the process jointly with other IFC team members, and providing guidance to HEIs as necessary. The Consultant will lead one-to-one interviews with various stakeholders, deliver the vision lab, prioritization, and foundations workshops, analyze the data gathered, prepare presentation materials, and design the final business case and roadmap for individual HEIs and present it.SCOPE OF WORK Jointly with the rest of the IFC team, the D4TEP Education Specialist STC will have the following key responsibilities:Participate in the kick-off meeting.DISCOVERY:Participate in weekly catchups with the client.Lead approximately 15 interviews with the client leadership.Lead the creation of the interviews summary and conclusions deck.Participate in the higher education trends and cases workshop.Participate in the AI workshopLead the ambition and OKRs workshop.Lead the presentation of the Discovery Phase Material.STRATEGIZE:Lead the Prioritization Workshop to identify client's critical digital capabilities.Lead the preparation and validation of the Digital Scorecard.Prepare technology experts team and participate in the Tech Capabilities Workshop.MOBILIZE:Lead the Foundations Workshop to share best practices and tools for effective change management.SPECIFIC CRITERIACommitment to the World Bank Group's mission, strategy, and values. Master's degree with 12+ years of experience in Higher Education Management, or Consulting for HEIs in the fields of IT management, data, and technology.Ability to work with multidisciplinary teams and understand and translate business needs and requirements into technology specifications.The Consultant should demonstrate a high level of expertise and substantial achievements in the field of digital transformation. Deep understanding of Education technologies, data analytics, and their applications in the sector. Relevant experience in the digitalization process in higher education. Familiarity with current higher education technology trends.Demonstrated drive for results and ability to deliver quality outputs under challenging timetables. Flexibility to quickly adapt to changing priorities and ability to manage parallel work streams.Excellent English and Spanish communication skills. Oral and written Portuguese, Arabic or French is a plus.Budget and PaymentThe daily rate will be determined based on the qualifications and prior experience of the consultant. Compensation is made on a net basis at the B4 level. This is a local, short-term consulting position.The assignment is expected to begin in March 2025 with an estimated 50 days of work and a contract ending date of June 30, 2025.
