This role will report to the VP, Asset Management, and will focus primarily on managing Commercial Real Estate (CRE) assets. The Associate will collaborate with senior and junior members of the Asset Management Team, various internal departments, and external partners to maximize returns, safeguard, and enhance the value of the CRE portfolio. Additionally, the Associate may assist with supporting new investments made by Rudin.ResponsibilitiesDevelop strategic, long-term approaches to managing New York assets by assessing properties through a traditional asset management perspective while exploring innovative methods to sustain a competitive edge.Maintain forecasting models, incorporating key terms, assumptions, and actual lease data. Collaborate with Rudin's leasing team to project leasing metrics, costs, and expenses, integrating actual bills and projected figures discussed with property management and accounting.Analyze and manage tracking of various ongoing capital projects in coordination with design & construction teams and property management.Ensure that the firm's properties are well positioned and adapt to market changes by proactively supporting the analysis of major capital and tenant improvement projects and new office or retail leases.Annual budgeting and reforecasting in coordination with property management, design & construction, leasing and accounting teams.Implement or refine business plans for assets, coordinating with investment partners and participating in meetings with internal teams and third-party consultants, including architects, engineers, and marketing agencies.Managing refinancing and disposition activities in conjunction with capital markets team as needed.Ad hoc projects and analysis to support overall asset management objectives.Qualifications2-5 years' experience in an analytically rigorous real estate or finance environment, with background in asset-level underwriting, valuation, asset management, or real estate sponsor-developer/accounting preferred.Bachelor's degree in real estate, finance, accounting, business administration, or a related field.Familiarity with multiple asset classes, including multifamily, industrial, student housing, retail, hotel, and office.Strong financial modeling skills with proficiency in Argus and excel.Evident passion for real estate and desire to build a career on the principal side.Strong creative problem-solving skills.Effective written and oral communication skills, with the ability to convey complex ideas clearly and effectively.Ability to work effectively with peers and senior executives in a team-oriented environment.Unwavering attention to detail.Highly organized with ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks simultaneously.Effective project management skills to ensure timely delivery of objectives.Pay range and compensation packageThe base salary range for this position is $85,000 - $125,000.This position is eligible for a discretionary bonus.We also offer excellent Benefits and Perks to our employees, including full company paid health, dental and vision, 401k, pension, housing and parking discounts, and wellness programs.All offered benefits are subject to the terms/conditions of the benefits plans Salary may vary based on work experience, market conditions, and qualifications/trainingEqual Opportunity StatementRudin is an equal opportunity employer that is committed to diversity and inclusion in the workplace.
