Professional Liability Underwriting Manager

Requirements:Bachelor's degree in business, finance, insurance, or a related field; advanced degree or professional certifications (e.g., CPCU, ARM) preferred.Minimum of 5 years of experience in professional liability underwriting.In-depth knowledge of professional liability insurance products, risk assessment, and underwriting principles.Excellent relationship management and negotiation skills, with a proven ability to work effectively with brokers and agents.Responsibilities:Evaluate and underwrite new and renewal business within the professional liability segment, adhering to company guidelines and risk appetite.Manage a portfolio of professional liability accounts, ensuring a balance between growth objectives and risk management.Ensure all underwriting activities comply with regulatory requirements and internal policies.Stay informed about market conditions, competitor products, and emerging risks in the professional liability sector.Work closely with other departments, including claims, risk control, and product development, to ensure cohesive service delivery.Lead and oversee a small group of Underwriters
