BASIC PURPOSE The Manager, Replenishment oversees all replenishment activities for their assigned staff including POD and division resources. Trains staff to drive consistent processes and procedures; manages performance results against established divisional KPI goals; resolves issues, takes corrective actions and makes decisions as needed; and ensures a clear line of communication among all stakeholdersJob DescriptionNew Ways of WorkThis position has been segmented as hybrid meaning the work is a combination of 3 days onsite In Rosemont, IL (Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday) and 2 days remotely (Monday, and Friday) as defined by the role segmentation.RESPONSIBILITIESManages the day-to-day activities of the Replenishment Buyers to achieve KPI goalsResponsible for managing the entire Next Day Gourmet inventory, stock and fill rate for all four distribution centers.Accountable for Buyers' performance including meeting or exceeding KPI goalsServes as a subject matter expert on AWR, PRISM, and ASYS to drive maximum efficiencyTrains staff on replenishment processes, procedures and tools including PRISM, AWR, and Replenishment Best PracticesConducts meetings to review issues and determine resolution strategies. Resolves issues by taking appropriate actions or escalating as neededReviews KPI results vs. goals (minimum weekly) and coaches and directs each buyer as required to maximize performanceCollaborates with other stakeholders such as vendors, brokers, operations, sales, transportation providers, Category Management, Alliant Logistics, and division staffPerform replenishment activities as a backup resourceManages personnel (recruitment, hiring, terminations, performance reviews)Monitors market conditions and instructs buyers to take action regarding price and purchase decisions.SUPERVISIONReplenishment BuyersRELATIONSHIPSInternal: SVP Replenishment, Director, Replenishment, Replenishment Buyers, Commodity Buyers, Division Replenishment Coordinator, Alliant Logistics, Sales, Category Management, Operations, Customer Service, Finance, FSQA, Phoenix Shared Service Center, Monarch Foods, Human Resources, Next Day Gourmet, Stock Yards, and ITExternalSuppliers, brokers, customersQUALIFICATIONSEducation/Training:Four year degree or equivalent experience required.Related ExperienceMinimum 5 years replenishment experience required.Prior foodservice and management experience preferred.Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:Must be proficient in the use of Microsoft Office especially Microsoft Word and Excel as well as Microsoft Outlook.Must be extremely organized, analytical and possess highly developed written/oral communication, management, training and interpersonal skills.Physical Requirements:Must be able to sit and stand for long periods of time.Must be able to travel up to 25% of the time.Universal pay verbiage:Compensation depends on relevant experience and/or education, specific skills, function, geographic location, and other factors as applicable by law.
