Job Title: Process TechnicianLocation: Shelbyville, Indiana Industry: Manufacturing Job Description: Theoris Services is assisting our client in their search for a Process Technician to add to their growing team located in Shelbyville, Indiana. This role is responsible for setting up, optimizing, and troubleshooting injection molding processes to ensure efficient and high-quality production of medical-grade components. The ideal candidate will have experience in plastic injection molding, preferably in a regulated environment such as medical device manufacturing. If you are passionate about process improvement, quality, and precision, we invite you to apply.Responsibilities:Set up, adjust, and optimize injection molding machines to ensure efficient production and high-quality parts.Monitor and troubleshoot molding processes to identify and resolve issues with equipment, materials, or mold performance.Perform start-up and shut-down procedures, ensuring proper documentation and compliance with company and regulatory standards.Conduct process validation studies, ensuring consistency and repeatability in production.Work closely with quality and engineering teams to address defects and implement corrective actions.Maintain detailed records of process adjustments, mold changes, and equipment performance.Ensure compliance with ISO 13485 and other relevant medical manufacturing standards.Assist in the training of operators on proper molding procedures and best practices.Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of molds and auxiliary equipment.Adhere to all safety guidelines and contribute to a clean and organized work environment.Requirements:Previous experience as a Process Technician in plastic injection molding, preferably in medical device manufacturing.Strong understanding of scientific molding principles, process control, and troubleshooting techniques.Familiarity with ISO 13485, FDA regulations, and Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) is a plus.Experience with various molding machines, materials, and automation systems.Ability to read and interpret blueprints, process sheets, and technical specifications.Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, and a commitment to quality.Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.High school diploma or equivalent required; technical certification or training in injection molding is preferred.About Theoris: Our goal is to Fuel Your Career!
