Position OverviewThe Estate Lawyers is a growing, high-performance trust and probate litigation firm with ambitious goals for 2025 and beyond. We are seeking a strategic, results-driven Chief Operating Officer (COO) to lead our firm's operations, build strong leadership teams, and execute scalable processes that drive accountability, efficiency, and profitability.This is not a passive administrative role. The ideal candidate is a decisive, confident leader who can set high standards, enforce structure, and ensure measurable execution. Education: Bachelor's degree in business, communications, or a related field (Required). ? Leadership & HR Expertise: Proven experience in team building, leadership development, and HR oversight. ? Training & Coaching Background: Strong experience in developing leadership teams, implementing training programs, and enforcing SOPs. ? Operational & Strategic Execution: Must have led and executed structured operational improvements in a fast-paced, high-growth environment. ? Certifications in HR, EOS, Six Sigma, ALA, business coaching, or mindset training (Preferred).Key ResponsibilitiesLeadership & Team DevelopmentBuild and scale middle management to ensure structured growth.Develop and implement firm-wide training programs that improve performance and efficiency.Ensure department leaders are held accountable for KPIs and execution.Operational & Compliance ManagementTransition the firm from reactive to proactive operational management.Create, implement, and enforce standard operating procedures (SOPs).Ensure 100% compliance with firm policies and legal industry regulations.Accountability & ExecutionEstablish a culture of urgency, follow-through, and accountability.Set clear expectations and enforce deadlines across all departments.Conduct regular audits to measure adherence to processes.Financial Oversight & Business PerformanceMonitor and improve financial performance, cash flow, and operational efficiency.Track and optimize profit margins, budgets, and collections.Provide actionable financial insights to leadership.HR & People OperationsOversee hiring, onboarding, and performance improvement plans.Create and enforce clear HR policies, performance metrics, and leadership training.Ensure continuous professional development for leadership teams.Technology & Process InnovationIdentify and implement cutting-edge legal technologies to improve efficiency.Ensure firm-wide cybersecurity compliance and tech adoption strategies.Business Growth & Strategy ExecutionAlign firm operations with expansion goals in Southern California.Collaborate with marketing to drive brand growth and client acquisition.Monitor and analyze business performance to optimize firm strategy.Why Join The Estate Lawyers?At The Estate Lawyers, we don't just operate"”we execute at the highest level.
