Credit Risk Manager

Job Title: Credit Risk Manager Location: Chicago Area, USA -(On-site)Position Overview:We are looking for a skilled and experienced Credit Risk Manager to oversee the development and execution of credit risk policies, evaluate the risk associated with clients and counterparties, and leverage data analysis tools such as Excel and SQL to inform decision-making. In this role, you will manage key projects, ensure timely implementation of risk mitigation actions, and generate critical reports for senior leadership and regulatory purposes. Strong communication abilities and experience in risk governance are key to this position.Qualifications:Proficient experience in financial markets, credit analysis, and risk management, particularly in commodity derivatives. Experience with Futures Commission Merchants or Broker/Dealers is highly preferred.In-depth knowledge of credit models relevant to banks, clearinghouses, and commercial hedgers.Familiarity with commercial credit models like Moody's, S&P, Dun & Bradstreet, and Lexis Nexis.Strong skills in data analysis using Excel and SQL.Excellent communication and presentation skills.Key Responsibilities:Develop and maintain policies and procedures for assessing and managing credit risk related to clients and counterparties.Continuously monitor active accounts to minimize or prevent bad debt and forecast liquidity requirements.Use customer data to build risk segmentation strategies and develop risk mitigation plans.Act as the Credit Risk Project Management Office (PMO) to ensure timely prioritization, execution, and completion of key initiatives.Prepare critical management reports and respond to regulatory or ad hoc queries.Support senior management with risk-related reporting needs.Maintain and implement the Credit Risk Governance process.Track and manage the resolution of open audit and self-identified credit risk issues to ensure satisfactory closure.?Email me with your updated CV with the subject line-Job Application-Credit Risk Manager-Chicago at to learn more about the above Opportunity ??????
