Research Technician, In VivoW2 ContractSalary Range: $79,000 - $89,400 per yearLocation: Milpitas, CA - Onsite RoleJob Summary:As a Research Technician, you will assist with the execution of in vivo experiments, manage breeding colonies, and troubleshoot study activities. This role is an opportunity to help our team redefine preclinical drug discovery and radically improve people's lives! You will performresearch meaningful for drug discovery, working in a positive, matrix-like environment where your ideas and thoughts matter, are necessary, and are expected for better science, animal welfare, and work environment.Requirements and Qualifications:1+ years of actively participating in the directional execution of in vivo studies in collaboration with investigatorsProficient in the following in vivo procedures:Dosing administration ( IP, SC, PO)Body weight measurementsClinical observationsNecropsyBlood collection through various routes (tail, submandibular, submental, etc.)EuthanasiaExperience in collecting detailed experimental and animal health records using data collection software such as Microsoft Excel/Google Sheets, Pristima/Provantis/StudyLog, Softmouse, etc.Experience in animal husbandry, including daily health checks, feeding and watering of animals, and cage changesExperience breeding colonies tasks such as tissue collection for genotype, mating, weaning, etc.Good documentation practices in a non-GLP or GLP environment is preferred.Desired Skills and ExperienceIn Vivo, drug discovery, animal husbandry, Microsoft Excel, Google Sheets, Pristima, Provantis, StudyLog, Softmouse, documentationBayside Solutions, Inc. is not able to sponsor any candidates at this time.
