Quoting Analyst

We are looking for a talented and meticulous Quoting Specialist to support our sales and engineering teams in the aerospace and defense sector. This position involves crafting accurate and competitive quotes for highly specialized products, ensuring that all customer inquiries are met with precise and timely responses. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, excellent collaboration skills, and a keen eye for detail.Key Responsibilities:Review and interpret customer inquiries, technical documentation, and product specifications to create precise quotes.Work closely with various internal teams (sales, engineering, manufacturing) to gather essential data and ensure the best possible pricing and timelines.Present clear and comprehensive quotations that meet both customer and company expectations.Stay updated on industry-specific standards, materials, and manufacturing processes to ensure accuracy and compliance.Address any follow-up inquiries from customers and adjust quotes as necessary.Use ERP/CRM systems to track and document the quoting process and customer interactions.Ensure that all quotes meet the regulatory requirements of the aerospace and defense sectors.Suggest opportunities for cost optimization and propose value-added solutions during the quoting phase.Qualifications:A degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field (or relevant experience).Minimum of 3 years in a similar quoting, sales support, or technical customer service role, ideally in a manufacturing or engineering environment.Strong technical analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex specifications and technical drawings.Familiarity with ERP/CRM software (e.g., Oracle, Salesforce) and proficiency with Microsoft Office tools (Excel, Word, etc.).Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with a focus on customer satisfaction and collaboration.Exceptional organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines effectively.A proactive team player with strong problem-solving abilities.Preferred Qualifications:Experience with heat exchangers or similar products.Exposure to aerospace and defense industry standards and regulatory requirements.Ability to quickly adapt in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
