Required Skills & Experience• 2-4 years of experience as a Data Analyst (or Data Analytics role)• Demonstrated SQL skills in order to query data• Advanced excel skills such as pivot tables or VLOOKUP• Experience working cross functionally with internal stakeholders (presenting data findings and making business recommendations)Nice to Have Skills & Experience• Data Analytics or equivalent IT certifications• Experience working with relational databases or ERP systems such as SAP• Overall good business acumen and ability to communicate effectively with leadership• Bachelor's/master's degree in information technology or relevant disciplineJob DescriptionA client of Insight Global is looking to bring on a Data Analyst to support their Product Strategy group in the power generation industry. The candidate will spend most of their time onsite in Glastonbury, CT and will be the only dedicated IT resource for the group. This individual will be responsible for collecting, organizing and managing data for various business lines. For each of these groups there is specific fleet, shop and operational data that must be extracted and analyzed to forecast new and existing units as well as product development. Data will be extracted from large zip files, MS Excel, ERP and CRM systems for example. This information must then be presented back to the internal stakeholders across the company with insights and business recommendations.Salary Range: $80,000 - $100,000/per year
