This high-impact role requires a visionary strategist with a passion for championing LGBTQ+ business success, driving economic growth, and advocating for lasting policy change. The Executive Director will be at the forefront of fostering connections, securing vital partnerships, and expanding the Chamber's influence while ensuring long-term sustainability.What You'll Do:Strategic Leadership & GrowthDevelop and execute an innovative roadmap for expansion, engagement, and financial stability.Build and lead initiatives that empower LGBTQ+ businesses and entrepreneurs.Collaborate with top industry leaders, stakeholders, and policymakers to drive meaningful impact.Advocacy & Policy EngagementBe the voice of LGBTQ+ business interests, advocating at local, state, and national levels.Shape policies that foster inclusivity, economic opportunities, and fair representation.Build strong relationships with government agencies, corporate allies, and advocacy organizations.Business Development & FundraisingCultivate corporate sponsorships, partnerships, and funding streams to support growth.Develop innovative fundraising strategies that enhance financial sustainability.Strengthen connections with key stakeholders, including business leaders and potential donors.Membership & Community EngagementExpand and enhance member services, ensuring value, engagement, and retention.Drive initiatives that position Miami as a thriving LGBTQ+-inclusive business and tourism hub.Foster opportunities for networking, mentorship, and professional development.Public Relations & Brand LeadershipServe as the face and driving force of the Chamber, representing it at events, in media, and across industries.Develop high-impact marketing and communication strategies to amplify the Chamber's mission.Navigate crisis communications with integrity and professionalism.Team Leadership & OperationsOversee the Chamber's day-to-day operations, ensuring efficiency and strategic alignment.Inspire and lead a team dedicated to delivering excellence.Partner with the Board of Directors to drive bold initiatives and organizational success.What You Bring:Proven experience in executive leadership, nonprofit management, or a related field.A strong track record in fundraising, corporate partnerships, and business development.Deep understanding of LGBTQ+ advocacy, diversity initiatives, and economic inclusion.Exceptional strategic planning, public speaking, and relationship-building skills.Financial acumen, with experience managing budgets and driving sustainable growth.Bachelor's degree required; advanced certifications in leadership, nonprofit management, or diversity & inclusion a plus.Bonus Points If You Have:Bilingual (English/Spanish) skills.A deep understanding of the challenges and opportunities facing LGBTQ+ businesses.Why This Role?This is more than a leadership position"”it's an opportunity to shape the future of LGBTQ+ business success and advocacy.
