Associate Director, Commercial Analytics

Our client, an audio streaming service in NYC is looking of an experienced and highly analytical Associate Director, Commercial Analytics for a year-long hybrid contract. This role will help drive data-driven decision-making and optimization strategies across their business and will focus on designing and executing in-market control tests and leveraging machine learning to increase subscriptions, revenue, app engagement, and customer experience. The ideal candidate will be responsible for experimental design, quality-checking implementation, and accurately measuring and evaluating test performance. They will analyze and optimize onboarding, engagement, and retention campaign attributes, including segmentation, offers, messaging, creative, frequency, and cadence across email, push notifications, in-app messaging, and other digital touchpoints. This is an exciting opportunity to work at the intersection of data science, experimentation, and business strategy in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. This is a 1-year hybrid contract that requires 2-days/week onsite in Manhattan.Responsibilities:Design and execute in-market control tests to measure the impact of various initiatives on business outcomes.Develop and implement machine learning models to optimize subscriptions, revenue, and customer engagement.Oversee experimental design, ensuring rigorous methodologies are used for A/B and multivariate testing.Conduct quality checks on test implementations to ensure accuracy and validity of data.Measure and evaluate test performance, analyzing key metrics such as lift, conversion, and retention.Optimize onboarding, engagement, and retention campaigns by testing segmentation, messaging, offers, creative assets, and delivery cadence.Leverage data-driven insights to refine campaign strategies across email, push, in-app messaging, and other channels.Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, product, engineering, and data teams to drive analytics initiatives.Communicate findings and recommendations effectively to stakeholders, translating complex analyses into actionable business insights.Qualifications:5+ years of experience as a data scientist, analytics professional, or in a similar role.Strong programming skills in Python, with experience in data manipulation, statistical analysis, and machine learning.Deep understanding of statistical concepts, lift analysis, and A/B testing methodologies.Experience designing and executing in-market experiments to drive business growth.Proficiency in data visualization tools and techniques to communicate insights effectively.Ability to work collaboratively across teams and influence decision-making through data-driven recommendations.Strong problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail and data accuracy.Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present technical concepts to non-technical audiences.Experience with marketing analytics, customer segmentation, and campaign performance evaluation.If you meet the required qualifications and are interested in this role, please apply today.The Solomon Page DistinctionSolomon Page offers a comprehensive benefit program for hourly employees.
