As a Data Analyst for Natixis CIB Americas, you will play a pivotal role in driving data-informed decision-making across our operations. You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to extract insights from complex datasets, supporting strategic initiatives and enhancing our competitive edge in the financial services landscape. Your expertise in data analysis and visualization will empower us to harness the full potential of data to optimize performance and meet our clients' needs. This position will also involve ensuring alignment with Head Office procedures and solutions in the Americas region.The Data Analyst will be responsible for:Analyzing large datasets from diverse sources to support various business functions.Conducting exploratory data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and opportunities, and providing actionable insights that drive business strategies and improve operational efficiency.Preparing data for dashboards, reports, and visualizations using tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Python, to present findings to stakeholders in a clear and impactful manner.Transforming complex data into concise, goal-oriented reports that foster innovation and growth.Identifying patterns and trends in datasets and delivering actionable insights to support strategic decision-making.Collaborating with cross-functional teams to understand data needs and deliver tailored analytical solutions.Partnering with Head Office and platform equivalents to align with global processes and solutions.Creating and maintaining custom and periodic reports, visualizations, and dashboards for key stakeholders.Working with business units, support functions, innovation teams, and technical teams to address data-related needs and explore opportunities for process improvement.Troubleshooting data-related issues and collaborating to resolve discrepancies in datasets.Developing and implementing data quality control processes to ensure accuracy, consistency, and reliability of data.Interpreting and summarizing analytical findings, developing key takeaways, and presenting results clearly to stakeholders.Ensuring that all data handling and analysis practices comply with regulatory requirements and internal policies, particularly regarding data privacy and security.Staying informed of industry trends and emerging technologies in data analytics, and recommending innovative solutions to enhance our analytical capabilities.RequirementsProficiency in SQL, Excel, and data visualization tools such as Power BI.Knowledge of programming languages such as Python, R, or SAS.Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills with the ability to manage large datasets effectively.Effective communication skills, capable of translating complex data findings into clear and actionable insights.Ability to work independently and collaboratively, managing multiple projects under tight deadlines and competing priorities.Deep understanding of banking systems, products, and processes, with the ability to effectively address related issues.Ability to listen, interpret user needs, and apply knowledge to direct solutions.Familiarity with statistical and machine learning techniques is a plus.BA/BS in Data Management, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate information accurately and effectively.Natixis is an equal opportunity employer, committed to a workplace free of discrimination. Natixis is required by law to include a reasonable estimate of the compensation range for this role. Actual base salary will vary and will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, relevant experience, education, skills set, applicable licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. Base salary is only one component of our total rewards package. Natixis also offers a generous benefits package, and you may be eligible for a discretionary incentive award depending on company and individual performance.
