Our approach focuses on lifestyle changes to improve long-term health outcomes.Position Summary:We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Medical Technologist to join our clinical laboratory team. The successful candidate will perform a variety of laboratory tests and procedures, particularly the hematology tests. Our laboratory is committed to delivering high-quality, accurate results in a timely manner, adhering to CLIA/CAP regulations and maintaining the highest standards of laboratory practice.Key Responsibilities:Conduct hematological, chemical, and microscopic tests.Prepare samples for examination, using automated equipment and specialized instrumentation, performing numerous complicated tests simultaneously, and interpreting findings accurately.Maintain and calibrate laboratory equipment.Prepare reports of findings, maintaining detailed logs of all work conducted in the laboratory.Implement and adhere to laboratory quality control and quality assurance standards and participating in proficiency testing.Communicate with lab managers, and other team members regarding patient data, test results, and protocol.Follow strict safety procedures and maintain a clean and orderly environment in the laboratory.Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in Life Science, Clinical Laboratory Science, or a related field.Certification as a Medical Laboratory Technologist (MLT) or Medical Laboratory Scientist (MLS) by the American Society for Clinical Pathology (ASCP) or a similar credentialing agency.Experience in a clinical laboratory setting, particular in hematology, preferred.Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.Work Environment:This position may require standing for extended periods, as well as repetitive work.May involve exposure to hazardous materials, chemicals, and infectious specimens; adherence to comprehensive safety procedures is mandatory.Employment Type:Full-timeLaboratory Location:Lakeway, TX (near Austin)Endless Health Advantage:Join a fast-growing, high-paced environment where you will learn a lotExperience our unique 4-day workweek schedule for MLTsInvent and develop new methods that make home blood testing more accessible and accurateTo receive full consideration:Please send a resume/CV and brief statement of why you are interested to the subject line, write: "Medical Laboratory Scientist or Technologist Application - " and then your first and last name.Thank you!
