Under the guidance of the Human Resources Director and Human Resources Business Partner and working closely with Operations Leadership, Talent Acquisition, and HRBPs, this role will be responsible for helping to develop and maintain programs, policies, and practices focused on retention, onboarding, orientation, and training.What you'll do:Ensure retention and engagement strategies are locally put into practice efficiently and effectivelyAssist operation teams with orientation and onboarding of new employees through the development and enhancement of tools and resources to facilitate the implementation of processes and procedures to improve the new hire experienceConduct stay interviews with goal of enhancing employee retention strategiesUse employee survey data to assess engagement, enhance processes, and develop action plansAssist operations management with conducting, tracking, and or evaluating training for associatesOrganize virtual and in-person trainings and events to promote employee engagement and help employees feel connectedSupport diversity, equity and inclusion initiatives especially as it relates to onboarding and retentionResponsible for tracking employee turnover and focusing on new hire retention at assigned locationsConduct periodic pulse surveys and quickly aggregate data to help provide leading insights into potential turnoverCollaborate with Operations and HRBPs to look for creative ways to engage, recognize and communicate with the workforcePartner with Operations, Talent Acquisition, and HRBPs to engage with new hires prior to Day 1 and to help coordinate the hand off of the new hire to the Operations TeamPerforms similar or related duties as assigned or requestedWhat we're looking for:Bachelor's degree required - Business, HR majors highly preferredEntry level to 2 years of experience in HR, Talent Acquisition, operations or similar fieldPersonable and caring person, because relationship building is of utmost importance!Good interpersonal skills including excellent written and verbal communication skillsCreativity in developing programs and methodsHave a level of empathy that demonstrates the ability to determine what is most important to their audience and work to deliver on expectationsExcellent time and task management skillsGood collaboration and team building skills, with ability to work with all levels and roles of an organization effectivelyPassionate about people and have a strong belief in all employees ability and potential to succeedAbility to adapt to changing priorities and deadlinesAttention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality in HR matters is essentialExcellent analytical skillsKnowledge or experience with Workday is an assetProficient with Microsoft Suite of productsFamiliar with various social media platforms and willingness to learn other platforms that can be used to engage with employeesPerks you'll get:Use of a company vehicle which includes gas, insurance and maintenanceAccess to Medical, Dental, Vision, Life and Disability insuranceEligible to elect other voluntary benefits including: Group Auto Insurance, Group Home Insurance, Pet Insurance, Legal Assistance, Identity Theft Protection, FSA, Accident Insurance, Critical Illness Insurance, and additional life insurance coverages401(k) Retirement Plan with company matched contributionsFull training to learn the business and enhance professional skillsEmployee discounts, including discounted prices on the purchase of Avis/Budget carsAccess to an Employee Assistance Program for services including counseling, financial and legal consultation, referrals for care service and moreCommunity involvement opportunitiesGood-Faith Salary Range:The annual starting salary for this position is between $64,350- 70,000.
