If you are looking for a firm where you can work with a team that truly enjoys practicing law, take independent responsibility for case management, and grow your skills, this could be the firm you have been looking for.Our recruiting efforts are focused on individuals who have a thorough understanding of the law and our practice areas, superb communication skills, and those who thrive in a fast-paced, challenging work environment.Job Summary:We are seeking an associate to join our southern California (Orange County) office.The ideal candidate must be organized and able to handle a high-volume case load, able to develop appropriate defense strategies, receptive to feedback and taking direction but also self-motivated to meet goals in a timely manner.Duties include, but are not limited to, preparing files for defense from inception to resolution, extensive reporting and communication with clients and insurers, conducting depositions, preparing and arguing motions, and appearing in court and trial preparation.Practice areas include, but are not limited to, Toxic Tort Defense and Regulatory Litigation and Consulting.Requirements:Admission to the California State Bar is a must. Admission to the Oregon and/or Washington State Bar is a plus.0 to 3 years of experience, preferably in defense litigation.Excellent academic credentials.A self-starter with superior research and analytical skills.Superb writing and verbal communication skills.Excellent attention to detail, organizational, and time-management skills.Ability to perform all aspects of the position satisfactorily while working independently and in a team-oriented environment.There is immense growth opportunity and constant access to leadership.
