LHH is currently supporting a nonprofit organization in the Washington, DC area that is looking to bring on a Donor Database Coordinator to support their operations. This is a long-term contract position that will require 5 days a week onsite. The pay for this position will range from $22 to $24 per hour, based on experience. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills are required.This position is responsible for managing data entry and recordkeeping in their donor database. You will ensure timely, accurate entry of donations and constituent information, follow specific policies and procedures, and provide support for Advancement staff in various projects. You'll also conduct research to help build and maintain a donor portfolio.Key ResponsibilitiesEnter and manage data for donors, contacts, donations, event registrations, and other relevant information into the donor database.Acknowledge and process donations, ensuring they are accurately recorded and meet organizational standards.Review and update constituent records, ensuring accuracy and adherence to established guidelines.Perform quality control and reconciliation of gift batches.Address and resolve constituent inquiries submitted by phone, mail, or email.Generate and update reports as directed, ensuring proper filing of electronic and paper documents.Assist in conducting research on prospects and donors, gathering relevant information to support donor development.Participate in ongoing evaluation and improvements of data systems and procedures.Conduct research on individual, corporate, and foundation prospects to gather relevant data for potential major gifts.Analyze financial capacity and philanthropic interests of prospects.Update research findings and donor profiles in the database.Stay up-to-date with best practices in prospect research and professional development.Education and ExperienceHigh School Diploma or GED with at least 2 years of relevant experience.Proficiency in data entry and Microsoft Office.Experience with donor management software like Raiser's Edge/NXT is preferred.Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and recordkeeping.Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills.Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities.Experience working with relational databases and CRM systems.High level of integrity, especially when handling confidential information.Benefit offerings include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, EAP program, commuter benefits and 401K plan.
