ROLEWe are seeking an experienced Learning Management System (LMS) Administrator to support the Federal Trade Commission (FTC), Human Capital Management Office (HCMO) in Washington, DC. Your scope of work involves managing the FTC's LMS (eTrain2 on the Cornerstone platform), providing technical and administrative support, and ensuring seamless learning operations. LMS Operations and MaintenanceManage day-to-day operations of the LMS by ensuring functionality, reliability, and accessibility for usersConfigure system settings, permissions, roles, and hierarchies to meet organizational needsPerform regular updates, patches, and upgrades to the LMS platformAct as the primary point of contact for LMS daily operations and end-user supportMaintain and monitor system performancePartner with the team, instructors, and vendors to ensure optimal use of the LMSIdentify process and quality improvements by providing feedback on usage, defects, and enhancementsMonitor monthly releases for upcoming system changes and deploymentsConduct regular health checks on the Cornerstone platform by ensuring configurations align with FTC business needsDevelop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) and user guides for the LMSDocument system changes, configurations, and integrations for referenceDevelop system optimization improvements for the LMSDesign content playlists to enhance training accessibilityImprove LMS search capabilities to support user efficiencyServe as the Designated Security Officer (DSO) for the LMSEnsure compliance with FTC security policies and federal cybersecurity standardsMaintain data security and user access controls to align with FTC's IT policies and government regulationsII. User ManagementCreate, update, and deactivate user accounts as necessaryMonitor and troubleshoot user access issues and ensure timely resolutionsProvide guidance and technical support to end-users, instructors, and course designersConduct training sessions for users, administrators, and course creators on LMS functionalityGenerate and analyze user activity reports to identify engagement trends or system issuesCreate and manage user structures (e.g., the creation of user groups and learning cohorts)Manage course enrollment (e.g., progress tracking, etc.)III.
