Our focus is on quality design, quality production, and quality service, with a deep understanding of the local expertise and landscape.Role DescriptionAt SMA, our BIM Manager will lead the optimization, enforcement, and maintenance of our BIM standards by championing innovative design technology platforms and tools. The BIM Manager will establish solid standards, drive change, promote new technologies, and stay ahead of AEC industry trends by presenting effective solutions to leadership.The BIM Manager also serves as the Production Team Leader, a senior position within the Production Department responsible for managing team resources and maintaining the firm's standards. This role requires strong management, technical, and interpersonal skills to communicate and collaborate with architects, engineers, clients, and other stakeholders. The BIM Manager must be detail-oriented and skilled in implementing best practices for BIM modeling and construction documentation to ensure project objectives and deadlines are met.QualificationsMinimum of 8 years of experience in architectural drafting and BIM modeling, specifically using Autodesk Revit.In-depth knowledge of BIM processes and principles.Excellent Management SkillsAutodesk Revit Proficiency:Advanced understanding of Revit Family creation.Expertise in Revit troubleshooting.Familiarity with Autodesk Construction Cloud (Admin Modules, Project Template Management).Proficiency with Revit Add-ins is a plus.Dynamo skills a plus.Revit Certification a plusTechnological Problem-Solver: Exceptional skills in addressing complex client requirements.Bachelor's degree in architecture (Master's preferred)Architectural License PreferredValid Driver's LicenseFamiliarity with architectural standards, building codes, and construction methods.Strong attention to detail with the ability to produce high-quality drawings and models.Excellent communication and collaboration skills.Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.Problem-solving skills with the ability to identify and resolve issues efficiently.
