The Senior Payroll Specialist coordinates and manages 1099 payroll operations to assure accuracy and to meet customer expectations and company goals.ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:QGenda:Set up new contract facilities, add new 1099 perm providers into QGenda, manage contract changes and make sure all payroll filters/functions are running correctly based on each provider's contract. Submit support tickets. Review QGenda pay data for each facility, make sure clock in/out times are accurate, make sure all-time punches are associated with a task. Communicate any payroll issues to the Chief MD or Chief CRNA for clarification and corrections. Export all necessary payroll reports out of QGenda and send to appropriate people for payroll processing. Customer Service:Send all new 1099 providers welcome letter packets. Build a relationship with each perm 1099 provider across all Premier locations; assisting with any needs they have. Complete employment verifications (current and former providers), assist with Provider Benefit information, and any payroll questions or issues.1099 Perm & PRN ContractingEnter new contract information in the payroll system (Access Database), confirm provider start dates and end dates. Update database with contract changes. Payroll:Payroll is on the 10th of each month: prior to payroll, calculate base compensation for new hires and termed providers, ensure all variable bonuses are scheduled to be paid (i.e., quarterly performance bonus, retention bonus, signing bonus). Subsequent Payrolls:Research all providers pay discrepancy inquiries, and if necessary, complete a Check Request form for any payments that need to be made after the monthly payroll has been released and send to appropriate person for processing.?BenefitsWork directly with the outside 1099 Provider Benefits partner to ensure benefits are available each year to whomever needs them. Send Providers Names and email addresses, the Benefit company, of all 1099 Providers within Premier. Send initial Benefit documentation to each new hire in welcome letter.Medical Malpractice set up and Incident Reporting: Set up Med Mal Policy for every new Premier Anesthesia facility, process all Patient Events to Risk Management and send all necessary supporting documentation for them to file with the carrier.Miscellaneous Clerical WorkFile all fully executed contracts in SharePoint.Cross Training:Crosstrain with other payroll specialist and act as backup support. QUALIFICATIONS - EDUCATION, WORK EXPERIENCE, CERTIFICATIONS:Bachelor's degree or related field experience and education.5+ years of experience with processing 1099-NEC payroll with varying compensations structures. Experience with healthcare professional payrolls highly desirable.3+ years QGenda software experience.1+ year Workday software experience.KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:Strong interpersonal skills and public relation skills.Solid analytical, creative, and problem-solving abilities.Project management skills and well organized.Detail oriented.Able to work independently.Able to assist, direct, and coordinate others.Knowledge of word processing, Microsoft Excel, and Access database.
