Reporting directly to the GTM Chief of Staff, you'll own and execute design projects across product UI, marketing materials, and branding assets. Your work will directly impact how users interact with our platform and how North presents itself to the world.This role is perfect for a versatile designer who thrives in a fast-moving startup environment and enjoys working on both product and marketing design. If you're passionate about creating intuitive experiences, refining design systems, and telling compelling stories through design, we'd love to hear from you.What you'll doDesign intuitive, scalable UI components for North's platformCreate high-fidelity mockups, prototypes, and templates in FigmaDevelop landing pages, marketing materials (social, ads, decks, etc.), and other brand assetsEstablish and maintain a scalable design system to ensure visual consistency across product and marketingCollaborate with marketing and engineering teams to align design with company goalsImprove the user experience by conducting research, gathering feedback, and iterating on designsStay ahead of design trends to enhance North's brand and user experienceWhat you'll need5+ years of design experience3+ years of delivering design solutions as a UX/UI designer Have an available online portfolioProficiency in Figma (design systems, components, prototypes, templates)Strong visual design skills with a keen eye for typography, layout, and brandingAbility to balance product and marketing design, crafting experiences that resonate with usersExperience designing landing pages, social media assets, and marketing materialsExcellent communication skills and the ability to articulate design decisionsA growth mindset, ready to iterate quickly and embrace feedbackNice to havesExperience with prototyping, especially using front-end code (e.g. HTML/CSS/JS)Experience working at a B2B SaaS or fintech startupFamiliarity with cloud computing, finance, or enterprise softwareExperience with motion graphics or animation toolsStrong storytelling skills, translating complex ideas into simple, compelling visualsWork locationThis is a hybrid role in our New York office (in West Village).
