On-Site Safety Manager

Job Title: On-site Safety ManagerLocation: Austell, GACompany: Plateau ExcavationJob Summary: The On-site Safety Manager will take the lead role in managing and overseeing all daily operations at a specific location or site. This position ensures smooth operation, adherence to safety standards, and customer satisfaction.Key Responsibilities:· Oversee and manage all day-to-day operations of safety on-site.· Ensure that all procedures and tasks are carried out in accordance with company policies and standards.· Regularly inspect the site and ensure all equipment and facilities are in good working order.· Ensure adherence to safety standards, health regulations, and site rules.· Coordinate and oversee the work of employees, contractors, and vendors on-site.· Address and resolve on-site issues, including any conflicts or disputes.· Manage on-site staff, provide training and performance feedback, and handle hiring and firing decisions.· Communicate with upper management regarding site progress, potential problems, and proposed solutions.· Provide excellent customer service and handle customer complaints or requests.· Complete necessary paperwork, reports, and records related to the site's operations.· Ensure the site meets its goals and targets, including financial objectives and productivity targets.Requirements:· STS-C Certification· Able and willing to travel up to 75% of the time regionally, depending on project location.· Strong technical skills· Valid driver's license.· Understanding of safety and OSHA regulations.· Physically active and enjoys working outdoors in all types of weather.Preferred Qualifications:· Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field.· Certification in project management or relevant professional qualifications.What We Offer:· Opportunity to travel· Paid Time off· Complete health benefits package.· Matching 401(k) program.· PPE provided.Job Type: Full-timeBenefits:· 401(k)· 401(k) matching· Dental insurance· Health insurance· Life insurance· Paid time off· Vision insuranceSchedule:· Willingness to travel: 75% (Required)License/Certification:· Driver's License (Required)Work Location: On the road
