This is your chance to join the team before we become the next Uber or Google of collectibles.Role OverviewAs the Events Operations Manager, you will be responsible for launching, scaling, and managing Arena Club's own card shows, expanding our in-person presence across the U.S. and internationally. This is a critical role in driving community engagement, growing our marketplace, and making Arena Club the go-to name in live sports card events.This is a high-impact, high-energy role for a strategic, operations-driven professional who thrives in fast-paced environments. As the Events Operations Manager, you will lead the launch and growth of Arena Club's card show presence"”from local events to large-scale national and international conventions. This role requires a deep understanding of event logistics, vendor management, sponsorships, and exhibitor sales. You'll be the architect behind every Arena Club event, ensuring seamless execution and an unforgettable experience for attendees, exhibitors, and sponsors.Key ResponsibilitiesLead the strategy and execution of Arena Club's live events, starting with launching our own flagship card shows across major U.S. citiesDevelop and scale event logistics, including venue selection, vendor partnerships, exhibitor coordination, and on-site operationsBuild and manage a team responsible for sponsorship sales, vendor partnerships, and exhibitor relations to maximize event profitability and engagementEnsure seamless event execution, from ticketing and attendee experience to security, setup, and teardownOptimize event operations through data-driven decision-making, continually refining logistics processes to scale events efficientlyForge strategic partnerships with key industry players, sponsors, and exhibitors to drive attendance, revenue, and brand impactInnovate and enhance the collector experience by integrating new technologies and unique activations, making Arena Club's shows a must-attend eventQualifications5+ years of experience in event operations, live event logistics, or trade show managementProven track record of scaling live events from launch to national or international expansionExperience managing sponsorships, vendor negotiations, and exhibitor salesHighly organized and detail-oriented, with the ability to juggle multiple large-scale events while maintaining operational efficiencyExceptional problem-solving and improvisation skills "” because live events never go 100% according to planStrong interpersonal and leadership skills, with the ability to build and manage a high-performing event operations teamBackground in trade shows, conventions, sports, or large-scale consumer events is highly preferredWillingness to travel frequently to launch and oversee events nationwide.LocationIn-office role - West Los Angeles, CA (5 days per week)Extensive travel required to oversee Arena Club's card shows across the country (and potentially internationally)
