Corporate Counsel

Company Overview:Our client is a leading health network based in Los Angeles, dedicated to providing quality healthcare to impacted communities. With a commitment to excellence and innovation, they offer a wide range of services including primary care, dental care, and senior services. Responsibilities:Draft, review, and negotiate managed care contracts and vendor agreements.Provide legal advice and support on a variety of corporate matters, including regulatory compliance and risk management.Collaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure contracts align with company policies and objectives.Manage and resolve legal disputes related to managed care and vendor contracts.Conduct legal research and stay updated on relevant laws and regulations affecting the healthcare industry.Assist in the development and implementation of corporate policies and procedures.Support the legal team in other corporate matters as needed.Qualifications:Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.Active membership in the California State Bar.7-12 years of legal experience, with a combination of in-house and law firm experience.Strong background in managed care contracts and vendor agreements.Excellent negotiation, drafting, and communication skills.Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a hybrid work environment.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Experience in the healthcare industry is preferred.
