Their team of attorneys is dedicated to helping clients navigate some of the most challenging moments in their lives, whether through divorce, custody disputes, property division, or other family law matters.Position Overview:They are seeking a dedicated Family Law Attorney to join our growing team in San Diego. This is an exciting opportunity to work with a group of skilled and compassionate attorneys who are committed to providing excellent legal representation in family law matters.As a Family Law Attorney, you will work closely with clients to understand their unique needs and help them through a wide range of family law issues.Key Responsibilities:Represent clients in all aspects of family law, including divorce, child custody, child and spousal support, property division, prenuptial agreements, domestic violence, and more.Manage a diverse caseload from start to finish, including case strategy, legal research, drafting pleadings, and providing legal advice to clients.Attend court hearings, mediations, and settlement conferences on behalf of clients.Negotiate favorable settlements and outcomes for clients, when possible, through mediation and other alternative dispute resolution methods.Draft and review legal documents such as petitions, motions, settlement agreements, and parenting plans.Stay current on changes in family law and relevant case law to provide the best possible legal advice.Qualifications:Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school.Active membership in the California State Bar.3+ years of experience practicing family law, with a strong understanding of California family law procedures and court systems.
