We are collaborating with a prominent client in the automotive sector based in Rochester, MI, to find a highly skilled and detail-oriented HR Manager. If you're someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about driving employee success while supporting the broader goals of the company, we want to hear from you!Key Responsibilities:Develop and oversee systems and procedures to achieve corporate objectives.Ensure compliance with federal and state governmental regulations and policies.Implement and monitor environmental procedures to align with corporate and regulatory goals.Oversee a comprehensive employee selection program, including recruitment, interviews, and candidate selection.Lead new employee orientation to cultivate a positive company culture and align with organizational goals.Maintain accurate records of insurance coverage, pension plans, and personnel activities such as hires, promotions, transfers, performance reviews, and terminations.Investigate accidents, recommend corrective actions, and prepare reports for executive management and insurance carriers.Conduct wage surveys to ensure competitive compensation in the labor market.Prepare and manage the HR budget, including general administration and personnel costs.Handle employee separation notices and conduct exit interviews to understand reasons for voluntary departures.Provide recommendations and implement procedures to reduce absenteeism and turnover.Manage external service contracts (e.g., canteen, transportation, or relocation services).Regularly review and analyze HR trends against industry benchmarks.Maintain records as required by government regulations.Lead and monitor Health and Safety Programs, acting as the Lead Safety Coordinator.Implement and monitor Environmental Programs.Qualifications:5-10 years of HR experience.Experience in the manufacturing or automotive industry.Proven experience in leading both corporate and plant professionals.Bonus Skills:Familiarity with ADP - Payroll, HR, and PTO processes.SHRM certification.Labor relations experience.Bachelor's Degree (B.A.) in Human Resources or a related field (preferred).Benefits:Hybrid work schedule.Competitive benefits, including a monthly car allowance.A culture of innovation with flexible scheduling, team-building activities, and an overall positive work environment.Ongoing training and development opportunities.About StaffBright: StaffBright connects exceptional professionals with rewarding career opportunities across industries such as HR, IT, Finance, and Engineering.
