Trustpoint is excited to partner with a large, regional law firm in their search of a Junior Legal Executive Assistant on a direct hire basis. This hybrid role (one day in office per week) will support the Administrative Director in a busy transactional group. Successful candidates will have exceptional writing and research skills, recent law firm experience, and experience in billing/time entry for Partners. This role will require overtime on a frequent basis, and is a non-exempt, OT eligible position. The schedule for this role will be 9am-7pm, with periodic weekend hours.Responsibilities:Drafting, using templates, scope of and proposal for service documents, client engagement letters, and new matter memosConducting research on non-legal matters; drafting and summarizing findingsCoordinating and hosting client meetings; updating attorneys on pertinent informationDrafting correspondence memos, litigation pleadings, letters, and formsOrganizing and scheduling meetings and appointmentsDeveloping and implementing databases, maintaining contact listsAssisting in the preparation of regularly-scheduled reportsResearching and creating presentations; handling multiple projectsPreparing travel plans and itineraries for the practice chairCovering for other assistants when requiredHandling sensitive information in a confidential mannerOther duties and special projects as neededRequirements:2+ years of Legal Administrative Assistant experience in a law firm; executive support experience in a law firm is preferredBachelor's Degree (strongly preferred)Proficiency in MS Office and Outlook calendar management; particularly Excel and PowerPointExcellent written and verbal communication skillsExceptional ability to work well with others in a demanding and fast-paced environmentStrong organizational and planning skills; able to prioritize competing tasks and projects in a timeline-sensitive environmentAll candidates must be able to work at a computer screen for a sustained amount of timeTrustpoint.One provides equal employment opportunities to all employees and applicants for employment and prohibits discrimination and harassment of any type without regard to race, color, religion, age, sex, national origin, disability status, genetics, protected veteran status, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, or any other characteristic protected by federal, state or local laws.
