Distribution Operations Manager

Seeking a dedicated Distribution Operations Manager who will lead and mentor Operation Supervisors to achieve overall performance goals for production, labor, cost, quality and safety. In addition to supporting distribution operations, the manager will be responsible for action plans, executing company programs and culture, asset protection, safety controls to improve overall quality. This person will be responsible to monitor and manage a budget and improve financial improvement within the facility.Commitment Responsibilities of the roleAlign safety, labor, cost, quality and safety of the facilityReporting, financial planning both sort and long term - labor and forecastingChampion of safety, safety walks, while leading improvements and safety standardsControl inventory, address gaps; including records management such as DOT regulations and compliancePartnership with HR and assist in development plans for direct reportsAbility to train, develop and mentor Make recommendations to improve warehouse operationsLead direct reports Strong Business Acumen and Leadership skillsQualifications:Bachelor Degree, Business Administration, Preferred or a combination of related - Equivalent work experience.Distribution Operations and SafetyEffective and efficient time management, organization skills, attention to details, verbal and written communication skills.Ability to change to meet demands of the business.Ability to work extended hours and weekends to support store operations.All employment decisions are made on the basis of an individual's skills, qualifications, merit, and business need.Equal Employment Opportunity Employer.
