Position: Order Processing SpecialistLocation: Durham, NC (Onsite 4 days per week)Pay: $55k to 65k/yearExperience: 5+ years of experience in a customer service role.Education: 2+ years of college education is preferred.Type: Full-time; Direct HireSchedule: Day ShiftGreene Resources is seeking a Order Processing Specialist to join a growing and dynamic team!Job Description:Receive and process customer purchase orders via phone, email, or directly from sales representatives.Coordinate with freight forwarders and customers to ensure timely and accurate delivery of products.Manage the billing process, including handling credit adjustments and rebills for orders.Provide customers with regular updates on order status and address inquiries or issues promptly.Process product samples and free good orders, and manage customer returns, including product replacement.Enforce company policies and procedures, ensuring compliance.Assist the sales team with order-related tasks and ensure all orders are complete for month-end closure.Collaborate with the Customer Engagement Leader on various projects.Communicate and coordinate effectively with internal departments to resolve issues and ensure smooth operations.Maintain frequent communication with customers to ensure satisfaction and address any concerns.Position Requirements: Knowledge of customer service principles and practices.Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word).Experience with Oracle/JD Edwards or similar ERP systems is preferred.Familiarity with logistics and supply chain processes.Turf and Ornamental or Agriculture industry experience is a plus.Professionalism, patience, and a customer-first attitude in delivering exceptional service.Strong attention to detail, accuracy, and a sense of urgency in a fast-paced environment.Highly motivated, able to work independently with minimal supervision.Excellent verbal and written communication skills, along with strong listening abilities.Good judgment and discretion in decision-making.Intermediate problem-solving skills and the ability to analyze and resolve issues effectively.Strong teamwork and collaboration skills to achieve department and company goals.Greene Resources is part of Array Corporation, the leading technology-enabled workforce solutions company whose mission is to fix how labor is bought, sold and delivered to enable universal access to the American Dream.We are proud to be an Equal Employment Opportunity and Affirmative Action employer.
