Home TutorLocation: New York (NY) / Los Angeles (LA) & International TravelWe are a family with two children, seeking a nurturing and academically-driven tutor to join our household. This individual will provide educational support, manage the children's schedules, and ensure that their academic needs are met, particularly when traveling. The position will be based in New York for 8-9 months of the year, with the remaining time spent traveling with the family internationally and domestically. The role requires flexibility, organization, and a passion for both education and caregiving.Responsibilities:Academic Support & Tutoring: Provide personalized academic instruction in subjects such as math, science, language arts, and other areas. Ensure that both children stay on track with their schoolwork, and provide tutoring as needed.Schedule Management: Organize and manage the children's daily routines, including schoolwork, extracurricular activities, and other commitments. Keep the family organized and ensure the children are on top of their schedules.Travel with the Family: Accompany the family on domestic and international trips to continue academic support, ensuring the children do not miss any schoolwork during travel.Communication with Parents: Maintain open communication with parents regarding the children's academic progress, any issues, and overall well-being, ensuring a collaborative approach to their development.Additional Childcare Duties: Assist with general caregiving needs, including meal preparation, and ensuring the children's comfort and safety.About You:3+ years of experience working with school-age children in an educational or caregiving role.Master's degree in Education, Child Development, or a related field preferred, or equivalent experience.Strong organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple schedules and tasks efficiently.Passionate about fostering both academic and emotional growth in children.Comfortable traveling internationally and domestically with the family.Energetic, warm, and nurturing, with a love for teaching and engaging with children.Flexible and adaptableMust have a valid driver's license.Can be based in New York or Los Angeles, with the ability to commute between locations and travel internationally as needed.Additional Benefits:Competitive salary Paid time off, including holidays and sick days.Opportunities for domestic and international travel with the family.A supportive and caring family environment.If you are passionate about education, enjoy working with children, and are excited about traveling while being part of a loving family, we would love to hear from you.
