HCLTech is looking for a highly talented and self- motivated Plastic Component Development Engineer to join it in advancing the technological world through innovation and creativity.Job Title: Plastic Component Development EngineerJob ID: 1523964BRPosition Type: Full-time with HCL TechLocation: Cincinnati, OHRole/ResponsibilitiesLead component development and Qualification activities within Life Cycle or New Product Development projectsDevelop and manage project plans for Design Changes or Process changes and lead cross-functional teams to complete them within the due dates established for each project.Responsible to coordinate new or Existing projects as well as validation of components.Process development and optimization in plastics and metal components (process flow, lean manufacturing)Selection and acquisition of modern technologies for assembly equipment and component manufacturingResponsible to develop the measurements systems for the new projects (Gauge/Test Fixture)Work with suppliers on process development / qualification activities related to components / processes (IQ, OQ, PQ) and monitor the execution through launch.Work with suppliers on plastics and metals process development and tools qualification activities related to components for medical devices.Responsible to develop processes for components utilizing DFM/A and RFQ processes, leading to highest quality with lowest cost.Solve problems and improve optimal parameters increasing the quality and productivity of the products.Support and develop documentation & specifications for process & equipment including drawings, process specifications, characterization sheets, tools specifications & troubleshooting guide.Position may require up to 30% travel both domestic and international.Pay and BenefitsPay Range Minimum: $30.29 per hourPay Range Maximum: $49.04 per hourHCLTech is an equal opportunity employer, committed to providing equal employment opportunities to all applicants and employees regardless of race, religion, sex, color, age, national origin, pregnancy, sexual orientation, physical disability or genetic information, military or veteran status, or any other protected classification, in accordance with federal, state, and/or local law.
