Title: Senior Project Manager (Market Transformation)Location: NYC Hybrid - 3 Days in OfficeDuration: 12+ months (possible extension/conversion)Program and project management skills; adaptable self-starter able to identify and prioritize project tasks and drive next steps while ensuring project goals are met in a timely fashionRole is delivering cross-functional projects in Capital Markets and Trading and related support functionsTrading, market risk, credit risk, XVA, liquidity, collateral exposure helpfulThe role will be part of a core Program Management team charged with ensuring the timely delivery and cross-functional execution of Markets projects and workstreams while imparting their judgement, experience, and know-how to find solutions and drive the work to completion. The candidate must be an experienced project manager with sufficient subject matter expertise to be able to drive meaningful solutions that are functional and sustainable.Primary Responsibilities:Support the Markets Transformation Initiative lead(s) to drive execution of strategic deliverablesLead or participate in working groups, workshops, and other ad hoc sessions with senior business stakeholders (Technology, Risk, Finance, Front Office, etc.)Gather business requirements, draft relevant project documentation (BRDs, process flows etc.) with IT and other business partners as appropriateImpart subject matter expertise by providing guidance, support, and constructive challenge on business initiatives to ensure alignment with strategyAssist in ensuring that all target state tools, processes and controls are socialized effectively and are approved at or by the appropriate governance forum or levelIdentify synergies between programs/workstreams to minimize delivery time and maximize adoptionCoordinate with stakeholders at various levels to track deliverable progress, ensure actions are moving forward, and clearly report statuses and next stepsStrong documentation and organizational skills including meeting minutes, action logs, trackers, logs, etc. to ensure clarity across stakeholders and the maintenance of a project audit trailSkills RequiredStrong & proven track record in strategic project management and delivering complex solutions are essentialStrong working knowledge of Capital Markets structures, products, technology, and environmentsStrong knowledge of the trade lifecycle across products and asset classesExcellent oral and written communications skills; must be articulate and persuasive with the judgement and authority to provide insightful commentary to senior stakeholdersSeasoned business analyst or project manager experience in major/complex institutions ( Tier 1 banks or Top 4 consulting firms)Demonstrated analytical skills with follow-up and problem-solving capability7+ years of relevant industry experience as a subject matter expert and skillset to drive change preferably with project management expertise tooExperience working with Front Office / Trading and Sales / Technology teamsStrong understanding of applicable regulations and compliance requirementsSlide creation and presentation, spreadsheet, and data analysis skillsSkills PreferredBachelor's/University degree, Master's degree preferredProject Management certifications e.g. PMP or equivalent a strong plusExperience with Resolution Planning and winddown protocolsDexian is a leading provider of staffing, IT, and workforce solutions with over 12,000 employees and 70 locations worldwide.
