We are growing fast and need to hire faster.About the job:Odoo is seeking a curious and highly motivated HR Analyst to join our growing team. As a key member of the HR department, you will provide critical support across various HR functions while serving as the frontline contact for employee inquiries.This role is essential in managing onboarding and offboarding, maintaining accurate employee records, overseeing benefits administration, tracking leave of absence (LOA) records, and ensuring payroll and policy compliance. You will collaborate with managers and external partners to support HR initiatives and continuously improve our people operations.The ideal candidate is customer-focused, highly organized, detail-oriented, and thrives in a collaborative team environment while managing multiple priorities.ResponsibilitiesProvide exceptional customer service to internal and external stakeholders by responding to inquiries promptly and resolving issues effectivelyProcess employee data changes in ADP and the Odoo Employee App, ensuring accuracy and complianceManage full-cycle onboarding and offboarding, including documentation, equipment coordination, orientations, BEP (Basic Employment Policies) completion, exit interviews, and policy complianceProcess employment verifications and department expense reportsMaintain and update company-wide organizational chart and safety plansTrack and maintain Leave of Absence (LOA) records, ensuring accurate documentation and compliance with company policiesDemonstrate resourcefulness in proactively resolving problems and managing multiple projectsMaintain organized HR files in both digital and physical formatsServe as a liaison between employees and benefits providers, addressing inquiries as neededAssist with HR-related communications, company events, and culture-building initiativesEstablish and maintain relationships with external law firms, insurance brokers, payroll companies, and benefits providers to assess options and ensure alignment with company policiesIdentify HR compliance issues and propose solutions while ensuring adherence to city, state, and federal regulationsWrite and maintain internal policies, the company handbook, offer letters, and termination documentationDevelop and maintain templates and processes for managers, including performance improvement plans (PIPs) and progressive discipline frameworksResearch and analyze insurance requirements for various business scenarios, applying strategic purchasing techniques to select providersConduct internal HR investigations and propose preventative measures to mitigate riskDevelop a consistent process for salary market analyses and manage internal salary gridsDeliver company-wide HR communications related to employee mattersUtilize advanced Excel (or other spreadsheet tools) for data analysis, formulas, and pivot tablesLearn and leverage internal tools, software applications, and data models to translate business realities into HR solutionsAssess data quality, identify clean or dirty data, and evaluate confidence levels in analysesSupport managers in HR matters, identifying gaps in HR practices and providing necessary trainingCoach managers on handling disciplinary issues, improving individual contributor performance, and addressing miscellaneous requestsEnsure consistent application of progressive disciplinary stepsQualifications and RequirementsBachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, related field, or equivalent combination of education experience5+ years of general HR and administrative experienceExperience with HCM/HRIS systemsKnowledge of 401(k) administration, EEOC regulations, ACA compliance, overtime exemptions, employee benefits, taxable benefits, and city/state maternity leave policiesStrong understanding of HR best practices, policies, and proceduresDemonstrated proficiency in G-SuiteStrong attention to detail, organizational, and time management skillsExcellent communication skills with professionalism and discretionSelf-starter with problem-solving abilities and adaptability to new systemsTeam player with a professional and approachable demeanorAbility to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environmentStrong decision-making skills, with the ability to prioritize effectivelyBalances professionalism with authenticityNice to HaveExperience/knowledge with SaaS/Cloud-based applications, particularly ERP systemsPrior experience at a fast-growing startupCompensation and PerksHealthcare, Dental, Vision, Life Insurance, FSA, HSA Matching, 401K Matching, and Commuter BenefitsPTO (Paid-time-off), paid sick days, and paid holidaysEmployee Assistance Program: 3 X 1-hour telehealth calls with certified mental health professionalsEvolve in a nice working atmosphere with a passionate, growing team!Chef-prepared lunches - snacks, fruit, and coffee/drinks on tap!Company-sponsored events for groups of 6+ employeesThe estimated hourly compensation range is $40 to $60.
